TJ Conner is a composer, songwriter, and artist in Chicago, Illinois, who is greatly inspired by the freedom jazz music offers to artists. He began writing and playing music 35 years ago, with the intention of creating songs that capture listener's attention.
The music TJ has brought to the world is not your average, cookie-cutter type of smooth jazz. His melodies include slow and fast-paced compositions filled with twists and turns, and elements from other genres including R&B, folk, and funk just to name a few.
He is associated with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), as well as the Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). His talent ranges from the simplest instrument to the most complicated.
